SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 17 Syracuse men's rowing team will opens its 2017 campaign on Saturday morning when it takes on No. 12 Cornell and No. 16 Navy in Ithaca, N.Y. Syracuse is looking to claim the Goes Trophy for the first time since the 2011 season.

Syracuse is coming off its best season since 2012, earning a 15th-place showing at the 2016 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta. The Orange have appeared in the top 20 of the coaches' rankings in each of the past 90 poll releases.
