Keller, Zazzara Named Scholar-Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Matt Keller of the football team and Natalie Zazzara of the women's track and field team are this week's Syracuse Scholar-Athletes of the Week.
Keller is a junior accounting major in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. He also serves as the treasurer for the Syracuse University chapter of Uplifting Athletes.
In 2016, the Willow Street, Pa. native played in all 12 games for the Orange as the snapper for punts and placement kicks. He worked with punter Sterling Hofrichter, who earned 2016 first-team freshman All-America honors from Athlon Sports and CampusInsiders.com.
Keller and the football team will take the field on Saturday, April 22 for the 2017 Syracuse Football Spring Showcase at the Carrier Dome. The event begins at 10 a.m.
Zazzara is a junior advertising and marketing dual major. She is enrolled in S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications for advertising and Whitman School of Management for marketing.
The Manlius, N.Y. native has competed in 400m, 600m and 800m during her Syracuse career. During the 2015-16 season, she had three top-five finishes between indoor and outdoor, including a second place finish at the Greg Page Relays in the Women's Distance Medley Relay.
Zazzara and members of the women's track and field team will be competing in four different events this weekend. The events include the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton, the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Georgia Tech, the Virginia Challenge at Virginia and the Cornell Upstate Challenge.
