Orange head coach to participate in annual 'Car Wash'
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange head football coach Dino Babers will appear on a variety of ESPN platforms Monday, July 24 when he participates in the network's mid-summer "Car Wash."

The "Car Wash" is an annual event in which coaches are invited to ESPN's Bristol, Conn. headquarters for a day of interviews and special guest appearances. Babers will spend nearly six hours making the rounds at ESPN. His day begins at 10 a.m. on SportsCenter Africa with Phil Murphy. A mixture of interviews and appearances follow, including a meeting with ESPN.com senior writer Heather Dinich. The SU head coach wraps up his media tour by taping segments for Monday's 8 p.m. SportsCenter as well as College Football Live.

Syracuse opens fall camp Sunday, July 30 and begins the 2017 season at home Friday, Sept. 1 against Central Connecticut State. Season tickets, partial plans and group tickets are on sale now online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Season tickets start at $125.

Single-game tickets for all home games are also on sale. Tickets start at $25 for non-conference games against Central Connecticut State, Middle Tennessee and Central Michigan, $30 for ACC matchups with Wake Forest and Boston College, $35 for the Oct. 7 Pittsburgh game on Orange Central Weekend, and $45 for the Clemson game on Oct. 13.

Babers carries a 41-24 (.631) career record into the 2017 campaign. Syracuse returns a nation's-best 20 starters, including 18 on offense and defense.
