Fifth annual "Evening at Ten Eyck" event set for Sept. 16
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse men's and women's rowing programs, in conjunction with the Syracuse Alumni Rowing Association (SARA), will host the fifth annual "Evening at Ten Eyck" and honor the 2017 SARA Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, September 16 at the James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse in Liverpool.
Alumni racing and a tailgate for the Orange football game against Central Michigan will begin at the Ten Eyck Boathouse at 11:30 a.m. Busing is available to the Carrier Dome and will start at 2:15 p.m. The football contest will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
The rowing events will pick back up at the boathouse at 6:45 p.m. The buffet dinner and hall of fame inductions will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
The 2017 Hall of Fame class includes George Blum '37, Bill Hider '63, Dick Horstman '57, Chris Liwski '02, and Arthur Osman '07.
