CBT Event To Raise Money For African American, Latino Scholarships
A number of former Syracuse University student-athletes, including Derrick Coleman, Billy Owens and Duane Kinnon, are joining in to support the Coming Back Together (CBT) Celebrity Classic basketball game that will raise money for African American and Latino Scholarships.
The game is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 14, at 8:00 p.m. at Henninger High School in Syracuse. The event is organized by Syracuse's Office of Program Development and co-sponsored by the City of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation and Youth Programs.
Coleman and Owens, two of the most celebrated men's basketball players in Syracuse hoop history, will coach against each other in the CBT Celebrity Classic.
Tickets are available at tickets.com. Prices are $20 for gymnasium seating and $10 for auditorium seating. The $10 ticket includes live player appearances and a video simulcast of the game.
