SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse hosts Central Connecticut State in its season opener on Friday at home in the Carrier Dome. Kickoff between the Orange and the Blue Devils is scheduled for 7:04 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.

Highlights of what's happening on campus leading up to the kickoff of the program's 128th football season include pregame festivities on the Quad starting at 4 p.m. At 5:35 p.m., the "Pride of the Orange" marching band will perform on the steps of Carnegie Library.

The band's pregame performance inside the Dome starts at 6:44 p.m. and Coach Dino Babers will lead the team onto the field at 6:59 p.m.

Following is a complete listing of key times of interest for the Orange on Friday:

4 p.m. – Parking lots open
4 p.m. – Quad opens
5 p.m. – Carrier Dome gates open for students and suite-holders
5 p.m. – "Orange Gameday" radio show begins locally on 99.5 FM (TK 99)
5:05 p.m. – Syracuse Drumline performs on the steps of Carnegie Library
5:30 p.m. – Carrier Dome gates open to the public
5:35 p.m. – Marching Band performs on the steps of Carnegie Library
6 p.m. – "Orange Pregame" radio show begins across the Syracuse IMG Sports Network
6:44 p.m. – Marching Band takes the field for pregame performance
6:51 p.m. – Alma Mater and National Anthem
6:57 p.m. – Syracuse intro video
6:59 p.m. – Syracuse takes the field
7:01 p.m. – Central Connecticut State takes the field
7:02 p.m. – Coin Toss
7:04 p.m. – Kickoff
