
Conway, Lee Named Scholar-Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Cody Conway of the football team and Arianna Lee of the women's rowing team are this week's Syracuse Scholar-Athletes of the Week.
A native of Plainfield, Ill., Conway is a junior, pursuing a degree in sport management. He is a two-time SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll member.
Conway has started both games on the offensive line this season. He has compiled seven knockdown blocks on 169 snaps. Conway added nine appearances in the 2016 campaign, with eight starts. He was one of 15 true freshman to see action for the Orange in 2015.
Lee is a junior, pursuing a computer engineering degree. She has been a member of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity since the fall of 2016 and was a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete Award recipient for the 2017 season. Lee is a two-time ACC Honor Roll member and has qualified for the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll in all four of her completed semesters.
The Folsom, Calif. native was part of the second varsity eight boat that was named the ACC Crew of the Year in 2017. Her second varsity eight boat won the ACC Championship and finished 11th at the NCAA championships that season. Lee was a part of the first varsity eight crew in every race of the 2016 campaign.
Conway and the Syracuse football team host Central Michigan Saturday, Sept. 16 at 3:30 p.m. inside the Carrier Dome. Tickets start at $25 for Saturday's game against the Chippewas.
Lee and the women's rowing team host the fifth annual "Evening at Ten Eyck" on Sep. 16. The event includes the 2017 SARA Hall of Fame Class induction and alumni racing.
