SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 8/11 Syracuse concludes play in the Central New York Classic on Sunday, Sept. 3 when it hosts Northwestern. Match time at the SU Soccer Stadium is set for 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge.

ORANGE USE BALANCED OFFENSE
Syracuse (2-0-1) has recorded five goals in three matches this season and they have been scored by five different players. Overall, seven different players have posted at least one point through the first three games.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Northwestern lost at Colgate, 2-0, on Friday in the opening round of the Central New York Classic. The Wildcats enter Sunday's match with a 1-2-0 record.

Sophomores Mac Mazzola and Ty Seager have scored Northwestern's goals this season. In addition, senior Riley Kelliher and sophomore Mattias Tomasino each have an assist. Senior Francisco Tomasino has started all three games in goal for the Wildcats. He has a 1.41 goals-against average and a .556 save percentage.

THE SERIES
Sunday's game marks the first meeting between Syracuse and Northwestern on the soccer pitch.
