SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 11/13 Syracuse returns to ACC play on Friday, Sept. 22 when it hosts No. rv/16 Duke at the SU Soccer Stadium. The match, which is the fourth straight home game for the Orange, starts at 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Syracuse (4-2-2, 0-1-1) looks to snap a two-game losing streak and record its first league win of the year. Duke posted a 4-3 come-from-behind win against Wisconsin on Tuesday to improve its overall record to 5-1-1. The Blue Devils are 1-1 in league play.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Senior Brian White leads Duke in scoring with nine points on a team-high four goals and an assist. Sophomore Daniele Proch is right behind with eight points on three goals and two assists. Overall, nine different players have scored at least one goal for the Blue Devils this season.

Freshman Will Pulisic has played every minute in goal for Duke in 2017. He has a .667 save percentage and a 1.24 goals-against average.

SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse and Duke will meet for just the fifth time on Friday. The Orange lead the all-time series, 3-1. The Blue Devils won the first meeting between the two schools in 1991. Syracuse has won all three meetings with Duke since the Orange moved to the ACC prior to the 2013 season. Friday's match marks the first time the Blue Devils have played a regular-season game at the SU Soccer Stadium.

The teams last met in Durham in 2015. Julian Buescher scored twice and Hendrik Hilpert made one save in his collegiate debut to lead Syracuse to a 3-1 victory.
