13 student-athletes join the Syracuse men's rowing program
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Coming off an eighth-place finish at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta in 2017, 13 student-athletes have joined the Syracuse men's rowing program. The newest Orange rowers join a program that recorded its best finish at the IRA Championship Regatta since 2012.
Â
"As with all incoming classes, time will tell of their true impact," head coach Dave Reischman. "We have challenged this group to start thinking about their Syracuse legacy right now. Will the program be in a better place due to their leadership after the next four years? They need to approach their academic and rowing success with a sense of urgency because those four years will go really fast. I like what I have seen so far. It is a nice mix of personalities and they seem eager to get to work."
