SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's volleyball team visits Duke on Thursday, Sep. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in an ACC matchup. The meeting is the second of three straight road contests for the Orange (9-6, 1-1 ACC).

Coach's Thoughts:
"Every game in our conference is going to be a tough matchup," said head coach Leonid Yelin. "Every team is good, we have to fully prepare and be ready to play."

Series History:
Duke holds a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series against 'Cuse. The Blue Devils won last year's matchup in four sets, but Syracuse was victorious in its last trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 3-1 triumph in 2015.

The Orange:
Santita Ebangwese leads Syracuse in kills (138), blocks (74) and hitting percentage (.406). Annie Bozzo has tallied a team-high 261 assists and Belle Sand has recorded a team-leading 180 digs.

Scouting The Blue Devils:
Duke (10-3, 2-0 ACC) defeated Wake Forest and Georgia Tech in its first two conference matches of the season. Payton Schwantz and Cadie Bates lead the Blue Devil attack with 156 and 148 kills, respectively. Emma Paradiso and Sarah Nelson have combined for 520 assists and Nicole Elattrache has a team-high 193 digs.

Of Note:
Sand currently ranks sixth in program history with 1,260 career digs. She is 24 digs behind Christen Casey for the number five spot.

Jalissa Trotter is 46 assists away from reaching 1,000 career assists.
