We had a staff meeting over in the Iocolano-Petty Football wing this morning and it was exciting to hear the team preparing for UNC. If anyone would have asked me at camp this Summer how I would feel about a 4-2 record and a big win over Florida St., I would've told them 'ecstatic.' We had a couple of close road losses, but Coach Babers has the team ready. Now we need the fans and alumni to step and make the #LoudHouse really loud!
Get your Orange Out t-shirt while on campus and help us continue this great run in 2018.

HONORS AND ACCOLADES
Softball Assistant Coach, Vanessa Shippy, is on the short list for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year award. We are very lucky to have Coach Shippy on our staff!
Santita Ebangwese, our Senior Volleyball leader, has been nominated in the top group of the 30 for the Senior Class Award. Read all about what an amazing student-athlete Santita is and how well she represents the Orange.
Getting it done in the classroom, in the community and on the court 👏

Eric Dungey has joined Santita on the men's side. We are so lucky to have student-athletes of this calibre wear the Orange.

Not long removed from his MLS championship season as the lead goalkeeper for Toronto FC, Alex Bono was back on campus to root on the Orange. I had a great lunch with Alex and we talked a lot about his love of the school and region. He even signed my Alex Bono bobblehead!
Sooo this happened yesterday.. bobble head night at the @CuseMSOC game! Wow, I was at a loss for words, and I'd say it's pretty accurate! Grateful to have their support and always happy to come back and give them mine! pic.twitter.com/j3RCAcAnuI

While on the topic of standout Syracuse goalkeepers and great students, Hendrik Hilpert has been minding the net for us for four years. Amazing run for him and he's not done yet. This world class save made it to #1 on the Sportscenter Top Ten, and I didn't call in any favors!
This save by Hendrik Hilpert helped Syracuse defeat No. 1-ranked and previously undefeated Wake Forest, 2-0. #SCTop10 pic.twitter.com/XlDedWj8EO

HOOPS IS BACK
Last weekend was our fan appreciation tip off weekend at the Dome. We had the Men's team running their annual Orange v. White scrimmage and on Sunday, the Women's team had their annual Hoops-n-Scoops ice cream social. Thanks to everyone for coming out. Season tickets are on sale for both and we cannot wait to see in the Dome for hoops starting next week.
