Syracuse to Host NC State in Primetime

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syracuse's Saturday, Oct. 27 home football game versus NC State will kick off at 7 p.m., the Atlantic Coast Conference announced tonight. The clash between the 5-2 Orange and 5-1 Wolfpack will air nationally on ESPN2.

NC State has won 10 of the 11 previous series meetings, including a 33-25 victory last season at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh. The Orange's only win in the series was a 24-10 victory in 2013. That triumph marked Syracuse's first conference win as a member of the ACC.

The Orange defeated North Carolina 40-37 in double overtime this afternoon, while NC State suffered its first loss of the season, 41-7, at Clemson.
