ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse looks to get back to its winning ways in its final home game of the regular season. The Orange had their six-game unbeaten streak snapped in a 3-2 loss at Clemson on Tuesday. Syracuse is now 7-5-3, including 1-4-2 in conference action. The Orange are still in the hunt to host an ACC Tournament first-round match on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

THANK YOU SENIORS
Syracuse will honor its senior class prior to Friday's match. Adnan Bakalovic, Jan Breitenmoser, Hugo Delhommelle, Jonathan Hagman, Hendrik Hilpert, Kamal Miller and Len Zeugner have led the Orange to an ACC Championship, two NCAA Tournament appearances and a trip to the College Cup for the first time in program history.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Boston College lost at Rhode Island on Tuesday, extending the Eagles' losing streak to four. Boston College enters Friday's match with a 4-7-3 record, including a 2-5-0 mark in ACC play.
Simon Enstrom leads the Boston College offense with 19 points. He ranks seventh in the ACC in points, fourth in goals (9) and first in shots per game (3.36). Antonio Chavez Borrelli has started 12 matches in goal for the Eagles. He has a 1.48 goals-against average and a .581 save percentage.

THE SERIES
Friday's match marks the 31st meeting between Syracuse and Boston College. The Eagles hold a 16-13-1 advantage in the series. The squads met every year from 1982-2004 when both were members of The BIG EAST. Since the Orange joined the ACC, Syracuse has won three of the six meetings, including a 1-0 win at the SU Soccer Stadium that sent Syracuse to the 2015 College Cup.
Last season, the Orange traveled to Newton, Mass. to face the Eagles. Boston College took an early lead in the 29th minute, but Syracuse answered in the 52nd minute to tie the score. The match went to overtime and Callum Johnson scored in the 95th minute to give the Eagles a 2-1 victory.

The Orange will play in the first round of the ACC Tournament on Oct. 31. A complete bracket will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 27.
