
Malone's top-60 finish highlights NCAA Championships

Shannon Malone finished 60th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, while the Orange men finished in 26th in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday.
Malone moved up five spots in the final 2k, crossing the line in 20:46.1.
Sophomore Joe Dragon was the top finisher for the 'Cuse men, finishing in 30:33.1, which was good for 90th overall. Aidan Tooker (30:50.6) finished in 123rd, Simon Smith (31:03.6) took 152nd and Nathan Henderson (31:29.4) and Noah Affolder (31:30.5) finished in 189th and 190th, respectively to round out the scoring.
The meet concludes the Orange's 2018 cross country slate, with the indoor track schedule set to begin in December.
