Orange Set for Fall Test at Cornell Classic

The Syracuse men's rowing team will travel downstate for its lone event of the fall season at the Cornell Classic on Saturday, Nov. 3. The race will showcase various teams in Central New York across multiple divisions.

The Orange are coming off another top-10 finish at the Intercollegiate Rowing Associate (IRA) Championship last season. Syracuse's varsity eight placed eighth at the IRA Championship, the seventh top-10 finish during head coach Dave Reischman's tenure at 'Cuse.Â

Last year at Cornell, the Orange took wins in both the varsity eight and the varsity four event.

The 4+ boats will head out at 10:05 followed by the first flight of 8+ at 10:10. The second 8+ flight begins at 11:40.

Syracuse opens its spring competition Saturday, April 6 where they will battle Wisconsin in Chicago.
