Orange Conclude Fall Season at Cornell Fall Classic

The Syracuse men's rowing team finished its fall racing season at the Cornell Fall Classic on Saturday morning in Ithaca, NY. The Orange raced Central New York foe Cornell in a 4,000 meter head race on the Cayuga Inlet. Syracuse's Varsity 8 turned in the fastest time on the day in the first of two flights, crossing the finish in 11:57.2.

The Orange made slight lineup adjustments between the first flight and second flight, maintaining its advantage on the Big Red in each respective boat class. It marked the first career race in a Syracuse tank for most of the Orange rookies and the last Cornell Fall Classic for the senior class.

Syracuse now turns its attention to its winter training in preparation for the spring season.
