Orange in the NFL - Week 14

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Six former members of the Syracuse football program, including Jacksonville head coach Doug Marrone, took the field during Week 14 of the 2018 NFL season.
Tampa Bay's Cameron Lynch, Indianapolis' Zaire Franklin and Denver's Shamarko Thomas each recorded special teams tackles this past weekend. Lynch now has a special teams tackle in four consecutive games.
Thomas, meanwhile, was waived by the Broncos after the game to make room for safety Trey Marshall, who was promoted from the practice squad. Thomas, who played predominantly on special teams, had seven combined tackles in six games.
Here's a quick recap of how Syracuse football alums fared in the 14th week of the season:
Chandler Jones, DE, Arizona Cardinals
- One tackle in Arizona's loss to Detroit.Â
- Tied for sixth in the NFL with 12 sacks and tied for 10th with three forced fumbles through 13 games.
- Fastest player in Arizona franchise history to reach 40 sacks (44 games).
Cameron Lynch, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Recorded one special teams tackle in Tampa Bay's loss to New Orleans.
Zaire Franklin, LB, Indianapolis Colts
- Recorded one special teams tackle in Indianapolis' win over Houston.
Shamarko Thomas, SS, Denver Broncos
- Recorded two special teams tackles in Denver's loss to San Francisco.
Riley Dixon, P, New York Giants
- Punted six times for 258 yards with a 43.3 net average and a long of 50 yards in New York's win over Washington.

- The Jaguars are 4-9 this season after losing to Tennessee last Thursday night.
