Buchanan Earns All-ECAC Honors

DANBURY, Conn. – Syracuse sophomore Tajon Buchanan's list of honors for the 2018 season continues to grow as he was named to the All-ECAC Men's Soccer Team on Monday, Dec. 11.

Buchanan recorded career highs in points (20), goals (8) and assists (4) this season. He led the Orange in points and goals and ranked fourth in assists. Buchanan ranked fourth in the ACC in points per game (1.33), fifth in goals per game (0.53) and tied for seventh in goals.

The Brampton, Ontario native recorded multiple goals three times in 2018, including a career-high three against St. Bonaventure. He is the first member of the Orange to reach 20 points in a season since Ben Polk had 28 points in 2015.

Buchanan was voted to the All-ACC First Team and the All-South Region Second Team.
