Orange in the NFL - Week 16

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Five former members of the Syracuse football program, including Jacksonville head coach Doug Marrone, took the field during Week 16 of the 2018 NFL season.
Linebacker Zaire Franklin had one of his best games as a pro in the Indianapolis Colts' come-from-behind win against the New York Giants. The first-year linebacker tallied six tackles (five solo).
Here's a quick recap of how Syracuse football alums fared in the 16th week of the season:
Chandler Jones, DE, Arizona Cardinals
- Two tackles and one quarterback hit in Arizona's loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
- Tied for eighth in the NFL with 12 sacks and tied for 10th with three forced fumbles through 15 games.
- Fastest player in Arizona franchise history to reach 40 sacks (44 games).
Cameron Lynch, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Tampa Bay's loss to Dallas.
Zaire Franklin, LB, Indianapolis Colts
- Six tackles in Indianapolis' win over New York.
Riley Dixon, P, New York Giants
- Punted three times for 145 yards with a 47.3 net average and a long of 52 yards in New York's loss to Indianapolis.

- The Jaguars improved to 5-10 on the season after a win over Miami.
