
Orange in the NFL - Week 13

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Six former members of the Syracuse football program, including Jacksonville head coach Doug Marrone, took the field during Week 13 of the 2018 NFL season.
Arizona defensive end Chandler Jones once again showed why he's in the conversation for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award. The Green Bay Packers had no answer for Jones, who carded four tackles, including two tackles for loss, one sack, and three quarterback hits in the Cardinals' 20-17 win. Jones has 5.5 sacks in his past four games and now ranks third in the NFL with 12 quarterback takedowns.
With his one sack on Sunday, Jones became the fastest player in his team's franchise history to record 40 sacks. He did so in 44 games, which is 16 games faster than the next closest player (Simeon Rice - 60 games).

Chandler Jones, DE, Arizona Cardinals
- Four tackles, including a sack, in Arizona's win over Green Bay.Â
- Third in the NFL with 12 sacks and tied for eighth with three forced fumbles through 12 games.
- Fastest player in Arizona's franchise history to reach 40 sacks (44 games).
Cameron Lynch, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Recorded one special teams tackle in Tampa Bay's win over Carolina.
Zaire Franklin, LB, Indianapolis Colts
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Indianapolis' loss to Jacksonville.
Shamarko Thomas, SS, Denver Broncos
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Denver's win over Cincinnati.
Riley Dixon, P, New York Giants
- Punted a season-high seven times for 310 yards with a 44.3 net average and a long of 54 yards in New York's overtime win over Chicago.

- The Jaguars are 4-8 this season after defeating Indianapolis.
