CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Syracuse faces Miami on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 12 p.m. in the Watsco Center. The Orange trail the Hurricanes by one game in the ACC standings and have the opportunity to pick up an important road victory.

The game will be televised on CBS. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.

For Starters
- Syracuse dropped to 17-9 overall and 6-7 in league play after a 74-70 loss to NC State on Wednesday night. Freshman Oshae Brissett tied his career-high of 25 points in the setback.

- Sophomore Tyus Battle added 17 points versus the Wolfpack. He leads the Orange and ranks third in the ACC with 20.2 points per game.

- Junior Frank Howard leads the ACC with 2.0 steals per contest. Howard has a combined eight takeaways in his last two outings.

- Syracuse holds a 17-8 advantage in the all-time series over Miami. The Hurricanes won the most recent meeting, 62-57, in the ACC Tournament last season.

Scouting the Hurricanes
- Miami (18-7, 7-6 ACC) is coming off of back-to-back losses at Boston College and versus Virginia. Prior to the pair of losses, the Hurricanes won five out of six contests.

- Dewan Huell and Lonnie Walker lead Miami with 11.8 and 11.1 points per game, respectively. Anthony Lawrence grabs 6.8 rebounds per contest and shoots 46.3 percent (31-of-67) from beyond the arc.

- Jim Larrañaga is in his seventh year as head coach of the Hurricanes. He has led Miami to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including two trips to the Sweet 16, and won the 2013 ACC regular season and tournament titles.
