BROOKLYN, N.Y. – 11^th-seeded Syracuse heads to the Barclay's Center to face 14^th-seeded Wake Forest in the first round of the 2018 New York Life ACC Tournament. The game is set of Tuesday, Mar. 5 at 7 p.m.
The game will be televised on ESPNU and the ACC Network. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.

For Starters
- Syracuse (19-12, 8-10 ACC) capped of the regular season with a home victory over then No. 18/18 Clemson 55-52. Sophomore Tyus Battle and freshman Oshae Brissett each scored 17 points for the Orange.

- With his 17 points, Battle eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his career. Battle, who now has 1,006 points, is the 62nd 1,000-point scorer in the history of Syracuse basketball, a total that ranks fifth among Division I programs.

- Battle and Brissett each received postseason honors from the ACC. Battle was selected to the All-ACC Second Team and Brissett earned All-ACC Freshman Team honors.

- The Orange seek their first ACC Tournament victory. Syracuse is 0-3 at the event.

- The Orange lead the all-time series over the Demon Deacons, 6-1. The teams split a pair of matchups in the regular season with each club winning at home.

Scouting the Demon Deacons
- Wake Forest finished the regular season with an 11-19 record and a 4-14 mark in the ACC. The Demon Deacons lost their last two games to Notre Dame and Georgia Tech.

- Bryant Crawford, an All-ACC honorable mention selection, leads Wake Forest with 16.7 points per game and 146 assists. Keyshawn Woods averages 12.1 points per contest and Doral more scores 11.2 points with a team-high 9.6 rebounds per outing.

- Former Kansas standout Danny Manning is in his fifth season as the head coach at Wake Forest.

With a victory, Syracuse will face sixth-seeded North Carolina on Wednesday, Mar. 7 at 9 p.m. on ESPN2/ACC Network.
