3/5/2018 9:18:00 PM | Men's Lacrosse
Freshman Tucker Dordevic and redshirt freshman Brett Kennedy swept ACC Player of the Week Honors for their play at Virginia on Sunday.
Dordevic netted four goals in the Orange's 12-11 win over Virginia, becoming the first Syracuse true freshman to score four goals in a game since 2008 Tewaaraton Award winner Mike Leveille accomplished the feat in 2005. Dordevic scored once in each quarter, but his fourth quarter tally with 12.6 seconds remaining, served as the game winner.
Kennedy, in his second collegiate start, was all over the field. He scored his first two collegiate goals, while shining in the Orange transition game, leading 'Cuse to 19-of-20 on clears. Kennedy also tied a career high with five ground balls.
No. 7 'Cuse will next host No. 15 Johns Hopkins on Saturday at 1 p.m.
