BROOKLYN, N.Y. – 11th-seeded Syracuse meets sixth-seeded North Carolina in the second round of the 2018 New York Life ACC Tournament on Wednesday, Mar. 7 at 9 p.m.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and the ACC Network. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.

For Starters
- Syracuse (20-12) defeated Wake Forest, 73-64, in a first round matchup on Tuesday night. Five different Orange players produced double-digit scoring outputs.

- Freshman Marek Dolezaj led the way with a career-high 20 points and sophomore Tyus Battle finished with 18 points. Juniors Paschal Chukwu (14) and Frank Howard (11) along with freshman Oshae Brissett (10) round out the double-figure scorers.

- The victory gave Syracuse its first win at the ACC Tournament. The Orange are 1-3 in ACC Tournament play and look to become the first team to win first and second round games since the contest expanded to five days in 2014.

- North Carolina leads the all-time series over Syracuse, 10-4. The Tar Heels scored the last four points to escape the Carrier Dome with a 78-74 victory earlier this season.

Scouting the Tar Heels
- No. 12/11 North Carolina finished the regular season with a 22-9 overall record and an 11-7 mark in conference play. The Tar Heels sixth place finish in league play earned them a first round bye.

- All-ACC First Team selections Joel Berry II and Luke Maye lead North Carolina with 17.8 and 17.7 points per game, respectively. Cameron Johnson (13.2) and Kenny Williams (11.3) average double-digit scoring. Theo Pinson has a team-high 147 assists and Maye grabs a team-best 10.1 rebounds per outing.

- Roy Williams is in his 14th season as head coach of the Tar Heels. He led North Carolina to its third national championship under his guidance with a 71-65 win over Gonzaga last season.

With a victory, Syracuse will face third-seeded Miami on Thursday, Mar. 8 at 9 p.m. on ESPN/ACC Network.
