Syracuse Adds Offensive Lineman Koda Martin

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Offensive lineman Koda Martin has joined the Orange football program as a graduate transfer from Texas A&M, Syracuse head football coach Dino Babers announced today.

Martin, who appeared in 34 games (16 starts) in three seasons for the Aggies, has matriculated to the University and is enrolled in the School of Education. He is eligible to play immediately.

The 6-6, 310-pound Martin appeared in 13 games for the Aggies last fall, starting 12 at left tackle, and cleared the way for an A&M offense that averaged 406.8 yards a game.

As a sophomore in 2016, Martin served as the backup at both tackle positions and made four starts, including one at tight end. He contributed to a Texas A&M offense that averaged 467 yards a game, including 211.8 rushing yards per contest.

Martin prepped at Texas' Manvel High School where he was coached by his father, Kirk Martin, who is in his first season as Syracuse's quarterbacks coach.
