Fresh off concluding one of the most successful careers by a Syracuse athlete ever, Justyn Knight has inked his first professional contract.
The three-time NCAA Champion (two individual, one team) will join former Syracuse head coach Chris Fox in starting Reebok Boston Track Club. Martin Hehir, the senior leader of the 2015 NCAA Championship squad will also be part of the club in its inaugural season.
Knight comes as the new team's signature signing as it attempts to gain footing in the professional ranks and will likely be the face of its brand.

Knight joins the professional ranks after an incredible collegiate career, with strong showings at the international level as well. He took ninth at the IAAF World Championships in the 5000-meters last summer and recently took second in the 5k at the Canadian National Championships.
The Vaughn, Ontario native is a 16-time ACC Champion, with 11 of those titles coming as an individual. He is also a 10-time All-American who racked up 48 points by himself at NCAA Championship events.
Fox retired from collegiate coaching last week to pursue the professional opportunity, after spending the previous 13 seasons building the Orange into a national running power. At 'Cuse, he led the cross country team to an NCAA title in 2015, oversaw three individual NCAA Championships from his runners, claimed nine conference titles and saw dozens of athletes earn All-America accolades.
"My time at Syracuse has been tremendous. I am not sure I can ever express my thanks to the administration for this opportunity at Syracuse," Fox said when announcing his retirement. "The young people I was fortunate enough to coach were the very best; however, I have an opportunity in the professional ranks that I could not refuse. I thank everyone involved with Syracuse Athletics for what was accomplished."
Brien Bell, who was Fox's associate head coach and a member of the SU staff for Fox's entire tenure and subsequent build of a championship caliber program, has been named the interim head coach.
