SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will play its second of three preseason scrimmages on Wednesday, August 15 against Villanova at 7 p.m. inside the SU Soccer Stadium. Admission is free.

The Orange defeated Canisius, 3-1, on Sunday in their first exhibition match. Sophomore Sondre Norheim gave Syracuse the lead for good with his goal in the 16th minute, while sophomore Petter Stangeland and junior Severin Soerlie added goals in the victory. The Orange outshot Canisius, 12-4, and had eight corner kicks to the Golden Griffs' four.

Syracuse travels to Connecticut to face the Huskies in its final scrimmage on Sunday before opening the 2018 campaign on Friday, August 24 at Oregon State.
