
Domic, Keller Named Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week

Syracuse football's Matt Keller and women soccer's Drina Domic are the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 10.

Domic is a senior from Calgary, Alberta, who is majoring in sports management in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. She has been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll all three seasons of her collegiate career. In addition, she is a 2018-19 representative on the Syracuse Student Athlete-Advisory Committee (SAAC). Domic has appeared in six games this season for the Orange, where she has recorded three shots.

Keller, a senior from Willow Street, Pa., is pursuing his Master's degree in accounting, following the completion of his undergraduate degree last spring. Keller was named a 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-District selection and has also earned ACC Honor Roll honors for the past three seasons.

He has seen action in all 38 games of his college career as the team's snapper for punts and placement kicks. He was a critical part of the Orange punting operation last season that ranked No. 1 in the ACC and 10th nationally.

Domic and the women's soccer team return to the SU Soccer Stadium this weekend following a four-game road trip. The Orange will take on Kent State Thursday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. Syracuse opens ACC play at home Sunday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. as it hosts Duke. Admission for both games is free.

Keller and the Syracuse football squad welcome Florida State to the Dome for its ACC opener Saturday, Sept. 15 at noon.
