
Gameday Timeline: Syracuse vs. Florida State

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange are set to open the Atlantic Coast Conference portion of their 2018 schedule.
Syracuse (2-0) welcomes Atlantic Division foe Florida State (1-1) to the Carrier Dome Saturday, Sept. 15. The game begins at 12 p.m. and will be nationally televised on ESPN.
Highlights of what's happening around campus leading up to kickoff include pregame festivities on the Quad starting at 9 a.m. At 10:32 a.m., the "Pride of the Orange" marching band will perform on the steps of Hendricks Chapel before making their way to the Dome at 11:02 a.m.
Head coach Dino Babers leads the team onto the field at 11:59 a.m.
In addition, Syracuse will recognize members of the the 1996, 1997 and 1998 BIG EAST Championship teams at the end fo the first quarter. Led by quarterback Donovan McNabb, the Orange posted a 26-11 record, including an 18-3 conference mark during that three-year span.
Former Syracuse punter Rob Long will also be celebrated on the field against the Seminoles. Long is the recipient of the Syracuse Football Club's Zunic Award and he will be recognized during the first timeout of the second quarter.
