Lukacs, Servais Named Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week

Syracuse University football's Airon Servais and volleyball's Kendra Lukacs are the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 17.

Servais is a redshirt-sophomore from Green Bay, Wis., who is majoring in exercise science in the School of Education. He is a 2017 All-ACC Academic Team honoree and a three-time Syracuse Athletic Director's Honor Roll selection. In 2017, he led the Syracuse offensive line in snaps with 1,036 and has played every game thus far in 2018.

Lukacs is a junior from Calgary, Alberta, who is majoring in public policy in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Lukacs leads the Orange volleyball team this season in digs per set and service aces.

Servais and the Syracuse football squad conclude a three-game homestead this week when they host former BIG EAST rival Connecticut Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Carrier Dome. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. Tickets to watch the Orange and Huskies start at $25 and are on sale online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX), and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).

Lukacs and the Syracuse volleyball team kick-off ACC play with their home opener against Georgia Tech Friday, Sept. 21. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m. in the Women's Building with free admission. The team closes out the weekend Sunday, Sept. 23 with a 1 p.m. face-off against Clemson.
