
Orange in the NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Orange linebacker Zaire Franklin and the Indianapolis Colts (10-6) saw their season come to an against the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional playoffs last Sunday.
Franklin started for the second straight week, lining up at strong-side linebacker. Franklin and the Colts prevented Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the league leader in touchdown passes, from throwing for a score, but Kansas City ran for four touchdowns and emerged victorious, 31-13.
The game marked Franklin's fourth start of the year. He also started against the Houston Texans in the wild-card round and started twice during the regular season.
In 16 regular-season games, Franklin tallied 29 total tackles.
