Orange in the NFL Playoffs: Wild-Card Round

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Orange linebacker Zaire Franklin and the Indianapolis Colts (10-6) are headed to the AFC Divisional playoffs following a 21-7 road win at Houston last Saturday in the wild-card round.
Franklin started at strong-side linebacker against the Texans and was part of an Indianapolis defense that held the Texans to 322 total yards. Houston was 3-for-13 (.231) on third down and did not score until the 10:57 mark of the fourth quarter.
The game marked Franklin's third start of the year. He also started twice during the regular season. In 16 regular-season games, Franklin tallied 29 total tackles.
The Colts square off against top-seeded Kansas City (12-4) in the divisional round this Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:35 p.m. on NBC.
