
LeVeille, Watson Tabbed Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week

Jillian LeVeille (spirit) and Mickey Watson (men's soccer) are the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week.

LeVeille, a sophomore and native of Bedford, N.H., is a Magazine major in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She is a Newhouse Dean's Scholarship Recipient and Newhouse Peer Advisor. LeVeille writes for The Daily Orange as a Pulp writer and Zipped Magazine as part of an online writing team.
LeVeille has been on the blue cheer team for two years, earning the MVP award as a freshman.
Watson, a graduate transfer student from Berwyn, Pa., is working towards a Master of Science in Sport Venue and Event Management through the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. Watson received a degree in communications and a political science minor from Loyola Maryland where he was a member of the prestigious Green & Grey Society, a four-year SAAC and Student Government representative, and the Diane Geppi-Aikens Service to Loyola Award winner.
Watson, a defender and four-year starter for the Greyhounds, was named All-Patriot League First Team, Senior CLASS Award Candidate, and four-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week during his career. Watson saw time in one match this season for the Orange, recording 29 minutes in an 11-0 win against Morrisville.
