The Orange returned to the polls this week, checking in at No. 17 in the Inside Lacrosse media poll and No. 20 in the USILA poll.
The Orange moved up three spots in the media poll and jumped back into the USILA poll after their resounding win over then No. 14 Albany. The road continues to be tough for 'Cuse, as Sunday's game vs. No. 15 Army will mark the second of three-straight games against ranked teams and four of the next-five Carrier Dome visitors are currently represented in the poll as well.
Loyola checks in at No. 1 in both polls after a 2-0 start to the year, garnering 378 points and 17 first-place votes in the USILA poll. Penn State (357, two first-place votes), Maryland (333), Cornell (284) and Duke (280) round out the top-five.
'Cuse will face No. 4 Cornell, No. 5 Duke, No. 6 Notre Dame, No. 10 North Carolina, No. 12 Virginia and No. 15 Army and Navy and Johns Hopkins, who are receiving votes this year. Previous opponents Colgate (No. 17) and Albany (receiving votes) also are represented.
The top-five is the same in the Inside Lacrosse media poll, with 'Cuse receiving 139 points for the No. 17 spot. This week's opponent, Army, is ranked 13th by the media.
The Orange will face the Cadets on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. It'll be military appreciation day, with $2 tickets available to active duty and military veterans by showing their military ID at Gate B.
Season tickets remain the best value to watch the Orange this season. At just $65 for adults and $35 for youth (12 and under) fans can purchase season tickets. Season tickets are in the reserved section behind the team's bench and come with other benefits during the season which are exclusive to season ticket holders.
Individual game tickets are also available at $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
