SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Who let the dogs out? Syracuse will on Wednesday, Feb. 13 for the annual Doggy Day sponsored by Crouse Health at the Carrier Dome. Fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to the Dome when the 15th-ranked Syracuse women's basketball team hosts No. 9 NC State at 7 p.m.
The Orange (17-4, 6-2 ACC) continue their home stretch versus Atlantic Coast Conference foe No. 9 NC State (21-1, 8-1 ACC). Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 1-888-DOMETIX, or by visiting the Carrier Dome box office (Gate B) during normal business hours.
Fans in attendance with their dogs receive a water bowl, while all fans and their furry friends are invited to participate in the "doggy zone" set up in the backcourt with local dog organizations such as shelters, day cares, trainers and groomers.
All dogs must enter through Gates A and C and must always be on their leash. Suggested sections for fans to sit with their dogs are 103-105 and 111-114. Relief stations will be located outside Gates A and C, as well.
Dog owners must bring documentation from their veterinarian showing vaccination records, as well as license and registration.
Syracuse University venue guidelines do not permit dogs for events outside of 'Doggy Day', with the exception of registered service animals.
The Wolfpack lead the series 5-4 all-time, but Syracuse is 2-0 against NC State in the Carrier Dome.
