SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 27-ranked Syracuse women's tennis teams continues its four-match road swing in Atlanta this weekend.
The Orange will battle No. 35 Georgia Tech in a Sunday afternoon showdown between Atlantic Coast Conference opponents. First serve is set for noon.

WHAT'S NEW WITH THE ORANGE
Syracuse (8-4, 2-2 ACC) has won four consecutive dual matches, most recently defeating ACC opponents Louisville and Notre Dame during last weekend's road trip. It was the first time in program history that Syracuse has defeated Notre Dame.

As a team, the Orange are 28-13 in singles play and 10-6 in doubles matches this season. Senior Gabrielle Knutson, the No. 42-ranked singles player in the country, leads Syracuse with her 9-3 record in singles action this year.
Knutson, meanwhile, pairs with junior Miranda Ramirez in doubles. As the Orange's top double duo, Knutson and Ramirez are 6-3.

The Orange, ranked No. 27 nationally per the Oracle/ITA's top-50 poll, checked in at No. 20 in the Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis rankings.

SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
Georgia Tech enters Sunday with a 4-5 overall record, including a 1-1 mark in ACC play. The Jackets are coming off of a 6-1 loss to Duke following a 7-0 win at home against Pitt.

The Yellow Jackets are ranked No. 35 nationally, according to the Oracle/ITA. Kenya Jones is the No. 24-ranked singles player in the nation, and she and teammate Jeanette Lin make up the No. 33-ranked doubles duo in the country.
Jones, Georgia Tech's No. 1 singles player, is 5-2 in singles matches this season. She and Lin are 2-3 in doubles.

WHAT LIES AHEAD
After the Orange face Georgia Tech, they will continue the road trip at Florida Atlantic. First serve is at 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 11.
Syracuse then returns home to battle ACC opponent Virginia Tech at 2p.m. Friday, March 15.
