SYRACUSE, N.Y. - It's good to be Orange!
Syracuse is one of three Power-Five schools in the country with a football team that won 10+ games and men's and women's basketball teams that both made the NCAA Tournament. The Orange are also the only team in the Atlantic Coast Conference to do so.
The Syracuse football team went 10-3 overall and finished ranked No. 15 in the country in 2018, capping off the year with a victory over West Virginia in the Camping World Bowl. The Orange open the 2019 season at Liberty on Aug. 31 and host defending national champion Clemson in its home opener on Sept. 14.
Season tickets, group tickets and partial plans for the Orange's six homes games this fall are on sale now online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Season tickets start at $125.
The Orange men's basketball program punched its ticket to the Big Dance with a 20-13 record this season. Syracuse, which received an at-large berth, drew the No. 8 seed in the West Region and faces ninth-seeded Baylor in the first round Thursday, March 21 at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City. Tipoff will be at approximately 9:57 p.m. ET.
The Syracuse women's basketball team, meanwhile, is entering the NCAA Tournament as a top-16 overall seed for just the second time in program history. The third-seeded Orange are 24-8 and earned the right to host the first and second rounds in the Carrier Dome, starting with No. 14 seed Fordham at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23.
Tickets are available online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).
In addition to Syracuse, Kentucky and Michigan, both of which are public universities, also won 10+ football games and had their respective men's and women's basketball teams advance to the NCAA Tournament.
