
Battle Named To NABC All-District 2 Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Junior guard Tyus Battle has been named second team All-District 2 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
The 25 all-district teams were selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in Division I.
Battle enters NCAA Tournament play as Syracuse's leader in scoring (17.2) and minutes-played (35.0) averages.He has started all 31 games he has played in. Battle missed Syracuse's two games in ACC Tournament last week with an injury.
The Orange square off with Baylor in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 21. Tip time is 9:57 p.m. Eastern and the game will be televised by TruTV.
