SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The final weekend of the regular season is upon the Orange. The 31st-ranked Syracuse women's tennis team travels to face No. 4 Duke and Clemson before entering the postseason.
The Orange take on the Blue Devils at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12, in Durham, North Carolina, and the Tigers at noon Sunday, April 14, in Clemson, South Carolina. The Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament, hosted in Cary, North Carolina, begins Wednesday, April 17.

WHAT'S NEW WITH THE ORANGE
Syracuse moved to No. 31 in the latest Oracle/ITA poll, which was released Tuesday, April 9. The Orange were previously ranked No. 30 in the country.Â
Syracuse has won eight of its last 13 dual matches, most recently suffering a home loss against then-No. 27 Miami by the score of 5-2. The Orange are 12-9 overall and 5-7 in conference play entering the final two regular-season matches.
The Orange's top doubles duo of senior Gabriela Knutson and junior Miranda Ramirez moved up to No. 56 in the nation. Previously ranked No. 90, their surge in the rankings came after they defeated Miami's then-No. 17 duo last Sunday.
Sophomore Sofya Golubovskaya and freshman Sofya Treshcheva, meanwhile, jumped back into the doubles rankings. The duo is listed at No. 90 in the latest poll, giving the Orange two nationally ranked doubles pairs for the first time this year.
In singles, Knutson continued her ascent up the poll, checking in at No. 19 – up one spot from last week's rankings. Ramirez remained ranked, but she dropped to No. 100.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Duke, ranked fourth in the nation, enters the dual with a 19-2 overall record, including an 11-1 mark in conference play. The Blue Devils are riding a nine-match winning streak after defeating No. 9 NC State, 5-2, Wednesday.
Three Duke student-athletes are nationally ranked in singles competition. Maria Mateas is the Blue Devils' top-ranked player at No. 13, and teammates Meible Chi and Kelly Chen hold down the No. 18 and No. 32 spots, respectively.
The Blue Devils also have three pairs that are nationally ranked in doubles. The 21st-ranked duo of Kaitlyn McCarthy and Ellyse Hamlin lead the way for Duke with a 10-3 overall record this spring.
McCarthy and Chi make up the 23rd-ranked pair, while Hamlin and Chen are the No. 81 team in the country.
Â
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Clemson hosts Pitt prior to welcoming in the Orange Sunday. The Tigers are 8-14 overall, including a 2-10 mark in ACC play, and are currently on a four-match losing streak.
The Tigers have two nationally ranked competitors in singles this season. Marie Leduc is No. 82 in the country, and Fernanda Navarro is ranked No. 109.
In doubles, Navarro and Leduc are Clemson's top pair. They are ranked eighth in the country, owning an 11-6 record at the No. 1 spot for the Tigers.
