Solomon Named ACC Player of the Week

With a team-high six points in two wins over ranked opponents this week, senior attackman Nate Solomon earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

'Cuse picked up crucial wins over No. 10 Cornell and No. 18 North Carolina this week to extend its winning streak to three games. Solomon scored twice in the team's win over the Big Red and posted a game-high four points (3-1) in the team's win over the Tar Heels.

The four point day also extends his point streak to 28-straight games. He has had a point in every game for the Orange, since April 28, 2017. This streak is the second longest in the ACC behind Virginia's Michael Kraus, who has recorded a point in 44-straight games.

This is the second time this season that Solomon has been named ACC Offensive Player of the Week. He also earned this award on March 26 after his performance in the team's victory against Duke. Bradley Voigt is a previous winner as well, doing so on Feb. 18.

The Orange travel to Annapolis, Maryland this weekend to take on Navy. The faceoff is slated for 5 p.m. on Saturday and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
