Orange Will Host Ospreys In 2019 Hoop Matchup

Syracuse has scheduled a non-conference game with North Florida to be played on December 21, in the Dome. It will be the second meeting between the Orange and the Ospreys on the hardwood.

North Florida visited Syracuse on December 3, 2016. Andrew White had 26 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lead the Orange to a 77-71 triumph.
The Ospreys, members of the Atlantic Sun Conference, won seven of their last eight games to finish 16-17 a season ago. Matthew Driscoll has logged 10 season at North Florida and produced an overall record of 163-167. He guided the Ospreys into the NCAA Tournament in 2014-15. Junior swingman Garrett Sams (12.5 ppg., 4.9 rpg.) is a top returning performer for North Florida.
Syracuse was 20-14 and claimed a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year in 2018-19. Redshirt junior Elijah Hughes (13.7 ppg.) is a returning starter for the Orange.
