Orange Earn ACC Honor Roll Accolades

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A record 288 Syracuse student-athletes have earned Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Honor Roll accolades for the 2018-19 academic year. Marcus Cunningham, a redshirt senior on the men's lacrosse team, highlights the list as he earned the honor for the fifth consecutive year.

In addition, 32 student-athletes made their fourth straight appearance on the ACC Honor Roll. That group includes Chevis Armstead (track & field), Matthew Barni (rowing), Gregory Bauerfeld (rowing), Tyson Bomberry (lacrosse), Drina Domic (soccer), Hannah Dossett (softball), Alexander Douglas (rowing), Lindsay Eastwood (ice hockey), Santita Ebangwese (volleyball), Ky Feldman (basketball), Christine Habjan (rowing), Jonathan Hagman (soccer), Hendrik Hilpert (soccer), Matt Keller (football), Gabriela Knutson (tennis), Arianna Lee (rowing), Mary Malone (track & field), Jack Mancini (rowing), Nick Martin (lacrosse), Libi Mesh (tennis), Kokeith Perry (track & field), Zoe Preston (rowing), Cara Quimby (lacrosse), Lauren Richards (rowing), Isabella Rodgers (rowing), Taylor Rogers (rowing), Rebecca Spraggins (rowing), Brianna Stahrr (lacrosse), Sarah Stuehr (ice hockey), Maria Tritou (tennis) and Jalissa Trotter (volleyball).

The Orange are as successful in the classroom as they are in athletic competition. A school-record seven programs earned NCAA recognition for their perfect four-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score, including women's soccer (fourth consecutive year) and men's basketball (third consecutive year). Ebangwese and Hilpert were named University Scholars. Ebangwese earned an NCAA postgraduate scholarship, while Hilpert was voted to the Academic All-America First Team.

The ACC Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
