
Orange Land 10 on IRA All-Academic Team

Syracuse, N.Y. – Ten Syracuse University men's rowers are among some of the nation's best and brightest oarsmen in the country, earning Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) All-Academic honors.
Alex Manfredi, Andrew Cummings, Anicet Mundundu, Cameron Grimm, Forrest Sears, Gregory Bauerfeld, Jack Mancini, Jakob Andersen, Matthew Barni and SunLee Stechuk all made the list of 315 student-athletes. It is the fifth-straight year Syracuse has had eight or more rowers selected to the All-Academic Team.
Stanford led the way with 17 selections on the heavyweight list.
To be eligible for recognition a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letter winner and also competed at the 2019 IRA National Championship Regatta.
