
Dickinson Takes Fifth at World University Games

Sophomore Laura Dickinson took fifth in the 10,000-meters at the World University Games on Monday.
Representing Canada, Dickinson entered the race seeded 14th among the field, but she crossed the line in 34:17.95 to place fifth. Great Britain's Jennifer Louise Nesbitt won gold in 32:38.45.
Dickinson was a USTFCCCA Second Team All-American and a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection this year. The ACC runner-up in the 3000-meter steeplechase and All-ACC performer in the 5k, the sophomore will round out her track season on Monday night in the 10k, an event she placed 15th in at nationals.
Iliass Aouani will race on Tuesday in the men's 10k.
