Former Syracuse standout Freddie Crittenden III is bringing home hardware.
The 2016 grad took silver at the Pan Am Games in the 110-meter hurdles on Saturday, in a time of 13.32 seconds. Crittenden was edged for the gold by Barbados' Shane Rashad Brathwaite (13.31). Fellow 'Cuse star Jarret Eaton clipped the third hurdle, stepped out of his lane and did not finish.
Crittenden III and Eaton both reached the finals after strong semis. The duo also were finalists at the USATF Championships earlier this month. Earlier this week in Lima, former SU teammate Sarah Pagano took sixth at the 10,000-meters to open the track events at the games, making a strong showing for the Syracuse delegation at the event.
