Knight Takes 10th at Worlds

Justyn Knight took 10th at the IAAF World Championships in the 5,000-meters on Monday, marking the second top-10 finish in world finals for the 2018 Orange grad.
Representing Canada, Knight finished with a time of 13:26.63 in the event. He took ninth at the event in 2017 as well. Ethiopia's Muktar Edris won the event in 12:58.85.
Knight, who won the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championship and 2018 NCAA Indoor 5,000-meters championship, was the most decorated track athlete in the history of the ACC. Knight won 16 ACC Championships at 'Cuse (five team, 11 individual) between cross country and track. He was an 11-time USTFCCCA All-American between the sports as well, including 10 first team honors. He now competes for Reebok Track Club.
