Plenty of Orange Games Set for National TV
1/30/2020 3:29:00 PM | Men's Lacrosse
Orange fans across the country will once again get plenty of opportunities to watch the Syracuse men's lacrosse team.
At least 11 of 'Cuse's 2020 games will be broadcast nationally in 2020. Dating back to 2016, 58 of the Orange's 62 games have been available to a national audience and that number is expected to continue to grow thanks to the launch of the ACC Network.
'Cuse will appear on the channel four times in its inaugural season, with three games scheduled on ESPNU and another slated for ACC Network Extra as announced by the league on Thursday.
Action gets underway on Friday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. when Syracuse hosts Colgate on ACC Network. That game will be broadcast by a pair of 'Cuse alums in Jay Alter and four-time All-American lacrosse player Ric Beardsley. 'Cuse will be back on the network again on Saturday, Feb. 15 vs. Binghamton and Friday, Feb. 28 vs. Hobart. The Orange will also conclude conference play on April 18 at Virginia on ACC Network.
SU's three other ACC games will appear on ESPNU - Â Syracuse at Duke (March 22), vs. Notre Dame (March 28) and North Carolina (April 11).
When Army visits the Dome on Feb. 23, fans can watch that game on ACC Network Extra and 'Cuse at Johns Hopkins will air on ESPN3.
All-three games of the ACC Tournament will also appear on ACC Network and every NCAA Tournament game will be shown on the ESPN family of networks as well.
Television announcements for the non-ACC/ESPN controlled games (at Johns Hopkins, at Rutgers, at Albany and at Cornell) will be announced at a later date.
Syracuse opens the regular season on Friday, Feb. 7 when Colgate visits the Dome at 4 p.m. 2020 Season tickets are now on sale. You can be part of that action and join the nation's largest lacrosse crowds by purchasing season tickets for just $65 for adults and $35 for youth (12 and under).
