SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse and No. 9/8 Duke will add another chapter to their rivalry on Saturday, Feb. 1 Tipoff in the Carrier Dome is set for 8 p.m. The Orange (13-8, 6-4) have won five of their last six games heading into Saturday's showdown.

Tickets for the game, which is sponsored by Holbrook Heating, are available online, by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Dome Box Office located at the Ensley Athletic Center on non-game days and at Gate B at the Dome on the day of the game. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to the Dome to avoid traffic and lines at the gates. Prior to the game, fans are invited to enjoy the 'Cuse Concert Series featuring Central New York band Chasing Neon in the Dome backcourt. Auburn native Nick Sbelgio will perform the National Anthem on the electric guitar

The game will be televised on ESPN and the Watch ESPN app. Fans can also listen to all the action on the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield IMG College, including TK99 and ESPN Syracuse locally.

STRIPE THE DOME
All fans attending the Syracuse University men's basketball game against Duke are invited to 'Stripe the Dome.' For this game, fans seated in sections 101 to 106 and 301 to 306 are encouraged to wear white shirts, while fans in sections 107 to 110 and 123 to 125 will be in orange, and fans seated in sections 111 to 116 and 313 to 319 are invited to wear blue. ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse had its five-game winning streak snapped in a 71-70 setback at Clemson on Tuesday night. Redshirt junior Elijah Hughes and sophomore Buddy Boeheim led the team with 22 points each. Syracuse went 5-3 in the month of January, which included wins at Virginia, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame. The Orange are tied for fourth place in the ACC with a 6-4 in conference record.

Hughes leads the team and is second in the ACC in scoring, averaging 19.3 points per game. Boeheim is second on the team and fifth in the ACC in scoring (16.4 ppg.) and is shooting 40.3 percent from 3-point range. Freshman Joseph Girard III and junior Marek Dolezaj also average double digits in scoring with 11.8 and 10.0 ppg., respectively. Dolezaj and junior Bourama Sidibe lead the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.1 per game each.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
No. 9/8 Duke is coming off a 79-67 victory against Pittsburgh on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are 17-3, including 7-2 in the ACC. Duke is second in the ACC standings and is 3-1 on the road in conference play this season.

The Blue Devils have four players averaging double digits in scoring – Vernon Carey (17.4 ppg), Tre Jones (14.9 ppg), Cassius Stanley (12.2 ppg), and Matthew Hurt (11.3 ppg). Duke's offense averages 82.7 points per game, which rank first in the ACC and tied for third in the country. Jones leads the ACC in assists, averaging 6.8 per game which is good for ninth in the nation.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski is in his 40th season at Duke. The Naismith Hall of Fame member has guided the Blue Devils to five national championships and 12 Final Four appearances.

Duke leads the all-time series with Syracuse, 9-6, including an 84-72 win in last year's ACC Tournament. In the loss, Buddy Boeheim had 15 points and was 3-for-5 from the 3-point line. In the 2019 regular season, the two squads split the series, each winning on the other's home court. Syracuse triumphed, 95-91 in overtime, in Cameron Indoor Stadium and then Duke won in the Carrier Dome, 75-65.
