GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Syracuse makes its 2020 ACC Tournament debut on Wednesday, March 11 when it takes on North Carolina in the second round. The squads meet in the final game of the day, which is scheduled for a 9 p.m. start.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and the Watch ESPN app. Fans can also listen to all the action on the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield IMG College, including TK99 and ESPN Syracuse locally.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse enters the ACC Tournament with a record of 17-14. The Orange are the No. 6 seed after posting a league mark of 10-10.

The regular season ended last Saturday with a 69-65 setback in overtime at Miami. Junior Marek Dolezaj led a group of three members of the Orange to reach double figures in scoring with 17 points. Freshman Joseph Girard III finished with 13 points, while sophomore Buddy Boeheim added 12 points.

Junior Bourama Sidibe pulled down 10 rebounds, marking the fifth consecutive game he has grabbed 10 or more boards. He leads the squad and ranks 10th in the ACC in rebounding, averaging 7.4 per game.

All-ACC First Team selection Elijah Hughes is the leading scorer in the league, pouring in 18.8 points per game. In addition, Boeheim is the top 3-point shooter in the ACC, ranking first in 3-point field goal percentage (.368) and 3-point field goals per game (3.1).

SCOUTING THE TAR HEELS
North Carolina is the No. 14 seed in the tournament and advanced to the second round with a 78-56 win over Virginia Tech in the first round on Tuesday. The Tar Heels (14-18, 6-14) have now won four of their last five contests.

Freshman Cole Anthony, who missed 11 games because of injury, is North Carolina's leading scorer, averaging 19.1 points per game. He was voted to the All-Freshman Team earlier this week. Junior Garrison Brooks also garnered All-ACC accolades, earning second-team honors. He contributes 16.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
